Clinical Service Manager

Sam started working in the NHS in 2012 as a physiotherapist. He has worked in Intensive Care, Stroke, Rehab and Trauma Orthopaedics. Before Telemed, Sam worked in ED, assessing and managing patients who’d had strokes to ensure they had rapid access to the diagnostics and treatments required

Sam has been the Clinical Service Manager for the Telemedicine Team since its inception in 2020. Sam supports with the day to day running of clinical services, as well as leading Telemedicine from a strategic perspective.

Sam is currently undertaking a Master’s in Advanced Clinical Practice. This will mean he can prescribe medication for patients and care home residents if necessary. He is hoping to complete this course by the end of 2023. Sam has recently become a new father, between being a new father and his master’s, Sam enjoys playing football and walking Albus, his miniature Goldendoodle.
